Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for use in RACING on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on the road network and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer has the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the exhaust due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a repair right with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in exchange for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
