Description

The RFX Pro Series Hi-Carbon Steel (HCS) sprockets are perfect for riders looking for longevity and good value for their sprockets, while providing an authentic quality that can't be found anywhere else.
The certified high-carbon steel offers unbeatable wear properties and its high strength compared to mild steel allows for a lighter profile, meaning the weight increase compared to aluminium is kept to a minimum.
The RFX HCS sprockets are laser cut for more precision and tighter tolerances.

Installation instructions:

  • Start by placing the bike on a stand, with the rear wheel off the ground.
  • Remove the chain and rear wheel from the bike.
  • While holding the hex key, loosen the nuts with a wrench.
  • Remove all nuts and the worn sprocket.
  • Clean the hub area ensuring it's clean and free of debris.
  • Take the new sprocket and place it on the hub ensuring it's well fitted and the bolt holes are properly aligned.
  • Clean the bolts and nuts of the sprocket.
  • Apply blue Loctite to each bolt and insert them into the holes.
  • Screw the nuts onto the bolts by hand ensuring that the seals are intact and in good condition.
  • Hold the hex key in place and evenly tighten the nuts.
  • Torque the nuts and bolts according to the user manual.
  • Reinstall the wheel on the bike ensuring that the chain is properly aligned and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
