The profiles of the KAROO™ Street are directly derived from those of the TOURANCE™ NEXT, with the precise aim of improving on-road behaviour.

It features a multi-radius profile with a wider and longer contour to increase the contact patch and thus improve grip and stability even during lean angles.

The height of the shape has been significantly increased to enhance shock absorption and comfort.

The front tyre profile follows the same pattern and similar geometry as that of the rear tyre to ensure synchronized behaviour of the whole set.

Grip in dry and wet conditions

The KAROO™ Street is characterized by a high-silica compound with a balanced proportion of carbon black and resins to provide excellent grip on the road, in both dry and wet conditions.

Traction in all conditions

The tread design of the KAROO™ Street is derived from the layout of the KAROO™ 3 and its uniquely shaped knobs, aimed at delivering excellent on-road performance, uniform wear, and a high level of stability combined with real off-road capabilities.

Extra-wide central knobs create a wide and solid contact area that ensures high-speed stability on the road.
When riding off-road, the V-shaped arrangement of the knobs and its many active edges ensure grip during acceleration, traction, and braking.
On the road, the arrangement of the knobs can reduce vibrations related to ground contact and helps maximize wear uniformity as well as longevity.
Longitudinal grooves in the middle of the central blocks ensure water evacuation and the tyre's self-cleaning capability.
Wide transverse grooves allow the blocks to dig into the earth, providing off-road traction especially on compact clay and soil.

Integration with electronic rider aids

The KAROO™ Street integrates perfectly with electronic rider aids such as ABS and traction control.
