This LED lighting system Proten has a waterproof design, with IP67 protection, but should only be used indoors. The LED lamp Proten is intended for aquariums.

Attention:

To avoid injury, it is essential to follow these safety instructions:

- Unplug all aquarium devices connected to the mains before putting your hands in the water or servicing the LED lamp Proten.

- Always hold the LED lamp Proten when mounting it on the aquarium frame, so that it cannot fall into the water.

- Regularly check the security of the connections and extendable arms of your LED Proten.

- Never look directly at the LEDs to protect your eyes.

- Be especially careful when handling the LED lamp Proten,

- After a long period of use, the lamp's surface may be hot; turn it off and let it cool down.

- If the LED lamp Proten falls into the water, do not try to retrieve it; unplug the power supply first.

- Use the LED lamp Proten only for its intended purpose. Using fittings and accessories from brands other than Aquarium Systems is not recommended and can be dangerous on the aquarium.

- Never install or store the LED lamp Proten in places exposed to extreme weather conditions or temperatures below 0°C.

The external soft cord or lead of this fixture cannot be replaced: if the cord is damaged, the fixture must be disposed of.

Installation:

- Choose a suitable location near your power supply. Unplug the main power supply before installation and ensure that the power unit of the LED lamp Proten is in a well-ventilated area and away from another power source: AC100-240V 50/60Hz.

- The LED lamp Proten can be mounted on the aquarium using the extendable arms and fixed using the supplied accessories.

Electrical Installation:

This device must be earthed and the circuit must be protected by a suitable fuse.

Before proceeding with installation, ensure that the voltage and frequency ratings of the LED lamp Proten power supply match the mains supply and choose a socket that is fully compatible with the mains.

Connect the LED lamp Proten to its power supply and ensure that the switches are in the off position. Plug the LED lamp Proten power supply into the mains. You can then turn on the switches.

Cleaning:

Unplug the mains power and let the LED lamp Proten cool down before cleaning to avoid leaving any marks.

Regular cleaning will improve the appearance and performance of your LED Proten.

After allowing the lamp to cool, use a damp cloth to wipe only the main body of the LED lamp Proten, and gently clean the plastic cover that protects the LEDs.
